2016 New Beginning
New Year
It's 2016 and the new year mean's new designs and new adventures for
Bear in Mind Design.
Last year saw new designs for baby grows and ceramic editions introduced to the family, taking part in events in new areas of the UK including Sheffield, Leeds and Notthingham and gaining two new stockists. The success of 2015 has increased my stock production and new customers/supporters purchasing/following the bear. I was able to start working on my branding for my stock and everything
is coming together one step at a time.
If you would like to see what is coming up follow me on:

Autumn Fall
With it getting colder I decided to invest in creating more baby grows to keep baby warm this time of year with the introduction of my long sleeved/legged baby body suits. Using a palette of oranges and browns inspired with a hint of Halloween infused spirit too.
Take a look at my newly decorated Halloween themed cacti (not just for Halloween) ready for any fireplace, shelf or window display. These limited edition went down a treat :)
I am hoping to keep you posted a little more over the coming weeks with the lead up to the winter. Keeping you posted with my adventures.

Wedding Keepsake
Its the season for weddings and we all know someone that is getting married this summer. I have hand decorated these heart trinket boxes with 'Mrs & Mr'. An ironic twist on the saying mr and mrs meaning the woman wears the trousers. I can also offer personalied messages and intials of the happy couple and even the date. A lovely keep sake for the day that the couple to keep their rings in or sentimental items from the day. Also personalised idea for the bridesmaids with their individual names on to thank them for being part of the special day. They are available to purchase and order from my etsy shop.

Man Mug Collection
Whilst in the process of moving and working full time, I have tried to fit in as much art as I could over the last two months. Having a few events coming up and thinking about fathers day, I thought it be nice to cater for the men and give them something to have and to hold. The ideas started following and I got creating...
Busy in the studio, I have been hand painting a new range of tankard mugs for the male species with illustrated designs great for father's day or any other occasion. I also cater for personalised designs, so if you have anything in mind and would like to contact me to create something unique and personal just email me on the below address:
bearinminddesign@gmail.com
Each mug holds half a pint of tea, coffee and even beer. Not all at once of course :) If you would like to order in time for father's day or have a birthday coming up for the hubby, boyfriend, brother, uncle or granddad then get in touch. All orders are gift wrapped :)

Art in the Village Showcase
My first two day event in the lovey Derbyshire countryside at the Peak Shopping Village went well and I got to meet some very lovely fellow talented artists. Having had a very hectic few months dealing with lifes strifes and juggling alot on my dinner plate, I have Introduced some new pieces to my collection that I have been working on. My hard work has paid off with having some lovely feedback and interest over the two days.
I would like to thank all for stopping by and taking an interest in my stall. I hope to be adding my new work to my etsy shop and website in due course. In the meantime if you would like to order any of my bespoke pieces then please feel free to drop me an email: bearinminddesign@gmail.com

Sheffield Artisan Market
A busy week preparing for the Sheffield Artisan Market showcasing my wares. This was my first visit to the city and apart from the whirlwind fun of the windy, it was a lovely day I had a lovely response from the day and some new fans of my work. I thought I would share some of the photos from the day and see if you can spot some new pieces available.
If you would like to order any of my wares from the day or even interested in following me then check out my etsy page or email me for more. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Bearinminddesign?ref=hdr_shop_menu

Start of 2015
We begin with a new year and welcome 2015. Bear in Mind Design ended the last year with new products and two successful craft events in Derbyshire. This year will hopefully hold much more success and hopefully more opportunties.
Getting back in the studio today, I have began the creation of my new design which I hope to turn into a range of products over the coming year. I also have a few more designs for my illustrated ceramic collections and more designs for my baby wear which will expand into more products. All exciting stuff.
I am looking at getting more of my wares into stockists this year as well so I can get a wider audience reach. I will let you know the progress of this. In the meantime I am re-desiging the website and doodling to my hearts content. I hope you will stick with me to watch my progress and keep your eyes out for my new work.
Happy 2015!!!

Night Market Derbyshire
I have been working on my new ranges, busy creating over the past few months and not had chance to update my blog. I am now updating and here is what I have been up to lately. I had the opportunity to showcase my work at a Christmas Night Market ran by Sheena Holland in Derby at The Old Bell. It was a successful night and I had a lovely time meeting new people/customers. It was great to hear all the positive comments and I would like to thank all that came by my stall. If you would like to purchase any of my items then please check out my Etsy shop:

Here are some pictures from the night. I will be exhibiting again on Saturday 13th December at The Old Bell in Derby.

Work in Progress - Sneak Peeks
I have recently been working very hard networking and not updated my blog for a little while. Balancing a day job and then putting your all into your night job can be a very long and pressuring time. At times you feel your not getting anywhere, other times you receive some lovely feedback it keeps you going. I believe in what I do and with this I keep on going each and every day with or without the motivation, I get up and work on.
I have been getting some new designs together and would like as much feedback as possible. I am a designer and work with a variety of mediums. I am looking to putting together some ranges so my new work will all tie in together. I have attached a few sneak peek pictures so you can see what ive been up to :)
