Autumn Fall

Autumn is among us and how I love this season with a path of golden leaves and misty fog mornings. Taking inspiration from autumn and nature, I have created some designs and pieces over the last month ready for stockists and events.

With it getting colder I decided to invest in creating more baby grows to keep baby warm this time of year with the introduction of my long sleeved/legged baby body suits. Using a palette of oranges and browns inspired with a hint of Halloween infused spirit too.

Take a look at my newly decorated Halloween themed cacti (not just for Halloween) ready for any fireplace, shelf or window display. These limited edition went down a treat :)

I am hoping to keep you posted a little more over the coming weeks with the lead up to the winter. Keeping you posted with my adventures.

Cacti Buddies

These little fellows have a little story of their own. After rescuing from being lost forever in a skip. I brought them back to life and created my little mexio cactus using eco friendly earthenware clay and fired into biscuit before hand painting them and being glazed. They come as a pair and ideally stick together which you can share with your best friend. Each one is hand painted with its own characteristic face. If you would like my pair of cacti and add to your collection of wierd and wonderful  things then you can purchase from my etsy shop or email me.

A lovely keep sake for the day that the couple to keep their rings in or sentimental items from the day. Also personalised idea for the bridesmaids with their individual names on to thank them for being part of the special day. They are available to purchase and order from my etsy shop.

Bark in the Park

Being a big softie for animals big and small, I always support the animal charities and the work they do to look after the abandoned furries. I have even been commissioned to paint portraits of pets as a keepsake. I was given an opportunity to take part in a charity event held by the RSPCA in Derby called Bark in the Park at Marketon park.  It was a great event and I got to see all the lovely dogs attending with their owners. Having got together my display for the day, I thought I would take the opportunity to showcase other wares that included illustrated ceramic pet bowls.

It was lovely meeting everyone that stopped by my stall and hope you enjoyed the day. If you stopped by the stall and was interested in having a pet portrait or even an illustrated or personalised pet bowl drop me a message for all commissions.

Tea for Two

I have been working hard of late to put together some designs on to ceramics and create a range of products for the home. The tea design started as a illustration for a tote shopping bag and print for the kitchen. I have since expanded the design to a teapot with the help of my familys locally run pottery company.

I would love to know what people think of my new range and all comments are welcome. This item is available to purchase through my etsy page:

Illustrations on Ceramics

Having been inspired from a trip down to Brighton, I took photos and I have been sketching in my sketch book. Since then I have been working on putting these images together to create some interesting designs inspired by Brighton and an old retro tattoo style.

This week, I have been experimenting with ceramics, drawing my illustrations on to earthenware and hand decorating. The items are now in the kiln being fired. Here are the pictures so far of the progress :)

If anyone is interested in these limited edition pieces then please get in touch.
